The second leg of the Canadian Triple Crown, the Prince of Wales Stakes, will hit the border oval at Fort Erie on Sept. 10 for its 89th running.

The traditional end-of-season race, the Tour de Fort, closed things out in a very non-traditional fashion at Fort Erie Oct. 17, with a stunning 40-length lead vanishing completely down the final stretch.
One Bay Hemingway, Danger Bay's only foal, won the Lake Erie Stakes Sept. 12 at Fort Erie and was previously second in the Grey Stakes (G3).

Fort Erie Race Track is clashing with Woodbine over changes to the Canadian Triple Crown schedule as well as rules that Woodbine has put in place on shipping between the two tracks.
